NEW FAVORITE SNACK: Macaroons from Laduree in Paris!
FAVORITE HOME IMPROVEMENT: The painting of the kitchen cupboards.
FAVORITE HOUSEHOLD CHORE: Doing the laundry.
FAVORITE INHERITED ANTIQUE: My Great-grandmother's Pickard punch bowl.
FAVORITE YARD SALE FIND: An old compartmented little cupboard - $15!
FAVORITE CONTINUING TREASURE HUNT: 19th century aesthetic brown transferware.
Some wonderful memories here;) looks like 2009 will be a great too;) Love that kitchen! Hugs French;)

Oh Sally but each one is so special...of course I adore your kitchen. I keep thinking about having the cabinets painted eventually. I LOVE the look.

it's so nice to find a blog by one of us "oldsters" as so many of them are by bloggers young enough to be my kids ( don't get me wrong--i love them all but sometimes feel so old... anyway, my husband and i will be celebrating our 43 this year so congratulations to you on your 50. i lived in me. for 24 yrs. so enjoyed the pics. god's blessings on your daughters continued recovery. tina s.
