What's the deal with all of the FAKE balloons at the car lots these days? They appear to be a beach ball on a wire waving weirdly in the breeze.
Do the car dealers actually think that FAKE balloons are going to entice me to visit their place of business?
Please, just give me a good product, a fair price, and a pleasant, efficient service department and I will patronize your business!!!
Sorry, I had to vent - for some reason, those FAKE balloons have really been bugging me lately.
I'm getting ready to go on a little road trip and away from the computer for the next few days. I do have a couple of posts scheduled to appear in my absence. When I return, I'll be anxious to check in on everything I've missed. Thanks for your continuing support and friendship. This blogging thing has been an amazing experience for me!

Have a great road trip! I've been so homebound I haven't noticed the balloons, real or otherwise, LOL! I guess I need to get out more. Cindy
ReplyDeleteI think the idea of the fake balloons is that movement draws the eye. By doing this, they advertise, "I'm here!"
ReplyDeleteSally have a great trip dear friend...be safe..hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
ReplyDeleteI totally agree...it's not like we haven't noticed their gigantic dealership is there...and the balloons aren't gonna make me say ....Gee I think I'll buy a car today! Have a great road trip...and be safe!
ReplyDeletenever seen them before...but think I may be tempted to rip one or three off to take to the beach! LOL just a thought...might make you feel better right? lol
ReplyDeleteanother thought....it makes you wonder when they have FAKE balloons....what else they have that is not really what it seems?
ReplyDeletenot that I think car dealerships would ever be dishonest or anything like that...no...never
I haven't noticed them before - but we do have a dealership here that uses an overabundance of american flags - Hope you have a nice time! ~ Robyn
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a safe and wonderful trip. Isn't it funny how something will get under our skin and bother us so much. Once we are bothered by it, it seems to appear everywhere! You're right, do balloons - real or fake - really draw in customers? laurie
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the fake balloons in our neck 'o the woods.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels and have fun!
I must not be observant cause I have not seen those fake balloons. Have a great week!...Christine
ReplyDeleteRoad trip? Sounds great, hope you have fabulous weather and a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time sweet Lady!!

It's an environmental move as well as cost savings for the ailing auto dealers. These balloons last a long long time and don't burn thru a limited helium resource that should be used for medical/tech advancements not balloons in my opinion. As well as saving on tons of latex.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather see attempts to keep the auto dealers operating, tax dollars coming into the community, and jobs available then an empty car lot showing signs of a dying neighborhood.
They made you look didn't they? :)
