Barb at Grits and Glamour is once again hosting a porch, patio & garden party. Go by her blog to check out the list of all of the participants with their outdoor party spaces.
Recently, I showed you our screened-in back porch. Now, here is a glimpse of our front courtyard. This space is not seen from the street; so when you come up the walk to the front door, this is always a surprise.
That's a lovely setting - very pretty and inviting! Linda

Oh, Sally! How lovely! I adore this spot and I too love that little table and chairs. They last forever, don't they? We had an old crank ice cream freezer just that color when I was a little girl!
ReplyDeleteNow my mouth is watering for homemade ice cream!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
That is really nice that you have that lovely space and it is private. Your table and chairs will never go out of style!
ReplyDeleteSally, Hi! I found you through Heirloom's blog. Love the little bistro set. I have one on my master deck...great for morning coffee or just reflecting. Hope you can come to Matildas someday. It is an experience!
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,
Gale
P.S. Thanks for your sweet comment about my area at Matildas!
It looks very inviting, love the roses~
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses. Your bistro set is also very nice. I remember my aunt having one just like this. Wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteSally - just beautiful! I have always envisioned a courtyard at my home somehow. I love a hidden courtyard - so New Orleans. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your little bistro set, and how special that it belonged to your parents.
By the way, I love that particular napkin print. One of my fave fabrics.
Thanks for joining in the party today. Hugs, Barb
Your courtyard is a delightful space...What a wonderful way to welcome guests to your home!

Hi Sally...
ReplyDeleteMy friend, I must apologize at being so late to get over to your place...I've just been so busy! If it's not kids and husband, it's estate sales, and now I've been busy trying to get everything ready to go to Texas...whew...I'm weary!!!
It was time for a "sit down" break so I headed over here! What a lovely surprise! My friend, your front courtyard is beautiful! I just love white wicker and of course you know that I eyed those pretty red & white toile pillows first thing! Hehe! Gorgeous!!! By the way, I loved your pillow post and really enjoyed looking through all of your beautiful pillows...so pretty! You're an amazing seamstress, my friend!!!
Love your parent's metal table and chair set...this patio area is beautiful! Just looking and smelling all of those gorgeous red climbing roses...ahhhh! And I love that cute green bucket...what a darling flower container!!! Thank you for sharing more of your beautiful home with all of us!!!
Well my friend, it's pretty warm here today! I think we have headed full-fledged into summer! We've had really cool temps and lots of rain at our place...I sure have enjoyed it!!! Take care...
Love ya,
Chari
I got a big smile on my face when seeing your post. I love, love, love everything!!!! The table & chairs, I want them. But I also want the wicker chairs and the pillows and the little table between them & don't forget to throw in the green bucket. When you get tired of everything, give me a ring & I'll be right over (even though we don't live in the same state). lol. Everything is totally my style.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely patio set. I'll bet you spend a lot of time there.
ReplyDeleteI love the table and chair set too, Sally! Your front yard looks so pretty and inviting!...Christine
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful inviting porch you have. I can see many a fun filled visit taking place out here. Thanks so much for swinging in and leaving such wonderful words of support. hugs ~lynne~
