It has been three full days since Christmas, and I think I have all of the decorations down and put away. Plus, possibly 80% of the glitter has found a new home in the vacuum. I know that in two months time there will still be a piece of glitter sparkle up at me!!!
I took some time today to change out the dish rack in the dining room into something for the winter season.
Brown transferware, brown bottles, pinecones --
and feathers.
I realize, of course, that it will be time before I know it to get out the Valentines for another glitter-filled holiday!

I love to decorate with pine cones and feathers....it's very Ralph Lauren-ee.....but I have never seen a pine cone that large!!
Have a great 2016!!
Love all the pinecones and feathers. Thanks for sharing at my party today and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Blessings,
Linda
I love all the bottles, oh those brown bottles, where did you find all those? And brown transfer ware, oh be still my heart. The feathers and pine cones are always appropriate to that type of scene, great styling.
We have a shutter shelf in living room which is our mantel. love to fiddle with it any time. Since I Had right shoulder replaced Dec. 7th. my decorating has been at a halt. Hubs got out our tomato cage tree 2nd. week after surgery and decorated it all by himself, did pretty good job. Am itching to take Christmas decos down to do some fiddling altho not allowed on step ladder yet. Enjoyed your decorations very much. Happy New Year
I LOVE brown transferware and those brown bottles go so well with it. Beautifully done!
Ha, ha, so true. I think I will forever be vacuuming up glitter! Love the combination of transferware, brown bottles, and pinecones. Perfect for winter! I too grouped some brown bottles together. Yup, we'll be pulling out Valentines in no time, but I just need a little less for January. :) Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
