OLD GLORY ANTIQUES FAIR

Last weekend we were off to attend the Old Glory Antiques Fair in Littleton, Colorado to observe the current trends.  
We saw lots of 'fresh from the farm' stuff.
 A good amount of industrial or is this from the farm?  Does anyone know what this apparatus is?
 Lots of crust and rust!
 Industrial carts repurposed into furniture.
 With a little cowboy and chippy paint thrown in!
 Patriotic items.
 And one of the biggest draws -- Ki Nassauer of Flea Market Style graciously signing magazines.
Did I buy anything?  Not at the Antiques Fair; as I had decided to 'shoot my wad' on something I have had my eye on for over a year at one of the Denver antique malls.  I've walked away at least three times without buying it; and decided that if it was still there, today would be the day.
It was there, so this tin picnic basket came home with me.  Since it hadn't sold, that probably means it was over-priced; but I couldn't resist it any longer.  I search for bargains constantly, so I can splurge once in awhile!

    Somethings are just meant to be with you. I'm glad that the plaid piece was still there for you. Thought about going as I was in Denver, but ended up shopping for shoes so my feet and legs are happy when I'm outside in the yard. I'm still catching up, but happy doing it!♥♫

    Looks like loads of good crusty farm stuff! I love the gears. That tartan basket was still there, because it was supposed to go to you. :-)

    OH I can sure see why you'd want that little beauty. It looks to be in very good condition also. What a wonderful find, nobody deserves that little gem more than you.
    I have a light yellow plaid tin basket. I love it and will not part with it for anything.
    I don't remember what I paid for it, bought it at one of Smith's Grove, KY seasonal shows. (Smiths Grove, a very sweet small town is north east of Bowling Green.
    I miss all the great places I used to shop in the area we lived in around Bowling Green,KY, especially in view of the lack of antique stores and no antique shows here in Grand Junction, CO. Happy summer antique hunting.

    I went to take a look at my picnic basket, what a doof I am, it's a wood look not light yellow plaid. Sorry, can I say it was a senior moment?

    Well worth the splurge, love it! I'm sure it had your name on it. Or maybe mine, lol! I'm not sure what the apparatus is, but I think it's great too. Love that flea market magazine. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
