Oh how precious is that...I loved marbles as a child...I tell you .I think they made better toys back in those days...these new plastic fly by night toys can't compare to the ones we had as kids...these days kids have so much animation to entertain them they don't get to use their imagination...great post girl...hope you are having a great weekend!
Hi SallyI think thats how it goes. There are so many new toys out there that children just "have" to have but really isn't it something to have your grandson playing so nicely using his imagination playing with simple toys. I love that. He looks so sweet and its so nice that you were able to take those special pics of him.come by and visit when you have some time.Judi
I loved marbles and buttons! I could play for hours making up games with them. I love seeing your grandson enjoying the simple things.
How cute is that...I love that you still have all your marbles ha ha !! I could't pass that one up girl!! thanks for coming by and hope you have a safe and blessed week...hugs and smiles Gloria
That is SOOOOO much better than a video game!
Hi Sally....your grandson is adorable and they do have a great imagination...to see the imagination of a 33 year old I posted pictures and a give-away on my blog of Sophie's 2009 calendar...Please visit and enjoy the pictures and tell your friends to stop by...Sue
I CAN hear the sound effects - sometimes it's the simplest of toys that bring the greatest imagination! What a little sweetie! ~ Robyn
What a great shot! I love marbles myself and have taught my grandson how to play!
Sometimes the least unexpected things are the best to play with and here's the proof;) Fun post! French;)
He's a darling to keep himself entertained like that.
Isn't it amazing how the imagination can entertain for hours? When I did daycare I took the kids outside one day to lay on a blanket and look at the clouds. I was so surprised that none of them except my kids knew how to use their imagination to see pictures in the clouds. I agree, the simple things are the best and that's why I made my granddaughter a Raggedy Ann for Christmas!!
Hi Sally :)That is so cute! I miss my kids playing like that.... in their own little world :)I'm glad I brought back a sweet memory for you of your mom. We just love that coffee cake!Happy New Year!rue
