YUK!! IT'S SURGERY TIME.

The time has come, and tomorrow is the day. I have an important date with my orthopedic surgeon and anesthesiologist. They are going to repair my rotator cuff - sounds like a football injury, doesn't it? But it is nothing that glamorous - just another one of those old age thingies that crept up on me.

I'll be back as soon as the anesthetic fog lifts and I can type again!!

I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, as well as the doctors that will be doing the surgery. And may your recovery be speedy.

Enjoyed your silver post. You have some beautiful pieces! We received three silver trays when we were married 32 years ago and only one candy dish, and I do have my grandmothers tea/coffee service that I treasure.

Hello dear friend...

Was just thinking about you today! I just made a big ol' batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies and I was stacking a few on my pretty green transferware plate! They look so pretty under that cloche, my dear friend! I just smiled sooo big...thinking about you and our meeting and this lovely gift that you gave to me!!! Anyway, just wondering how you are doing, Darlin'? I know that it'll probably be awhile before you can get back to blogging but when you do...please come by and let me know how you are fairing! I'm missing you, dear friend and hoping that all is going well with your shoulder!

Sending big hugs and lots of healing prayer your way...
Love ya,
Chari

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! We have a bit in common. I had rotator cuff surgery on my left arm Jan. 5 and am half way through PT. Not so bad but still haven't got full use of my arm. And discovered I have a tear in my right arm also! And I am not a world class athlete! It is bizarre how many people have this surgery these days. Hope your recovery is going well.
Loved Paris, London and Rome as well. Expecting first grandchild this summer just before a trip to Venice and Milan.
