Margo's Junkin Journal recently posted about finding pew pockets while out junking (they are now for sale in her etsy shop!) Our house is quite small and we live in every inch of it. Therefore, pew pockets and narrow shelves are a necessity for us.
The pew pocket below is in our hall bathroom and holds necessary reading material. It even has a slot for a pencil for doing word puzzles.
This pew pocket is in our master bath. We bought it years ago while out junking, and it has been in several different bathrooms over the years.

Not pew pockets, but these narrow shelves are similar. I always look for these - they are usually in an ugly, rough pine, but take a coat of white paint well.
In a small house, you can never have enough plate storage.

Hi Sally...
What a great idea, my friend...to use pew pockets for shelving in your home! I also love the narrow shelves you have...they really are perfect for displaying some pretty dishes!
Well my dear friend, I bet you are counting down the days till your trip to Europe! Bet you are excited beyond measure...I know I would be! Are you all packed and ready to go? Just curious...how many students did Mike end up with for the trip? Girlfriend, you are going to have the best time! I'm really excited for you and can hardly wait to see the photos and hear all about it!!! Just wanted to stop by to say hello and see how you are doing! I hope that my little note is finding you and your dear family all doing well!
