LONDON COLOR

Before a recent trip to London, England, we were told to expect gray skies, dreary facades, and a lack of color. What we found were beautiful blue skies, flowers, interesting buildings, and plenty of color for inspiration!!

Hope you enjoyed a short trip to colorful London!

Thanks for going along,

Sally

That one shot is a peek at a colorful strip of rowhouses. They'd be fun to see up close.

Loved the shot of the tulips! After Paris, London is next on my list of places to go.

I've always wanted to travel and I'm so glad I get to vicariously travel through your blog!! We just got a free cruise and have a choice of going to the Western Caribbean (Miami to Key West and Cozumel), Bahamas (Port Canaveral to Freeport and Nassau) or Mexican Baja (Los Angeles to Catalina and Ensenada) and don't know which to choose. Do you have any information you could share with me. I haven't blogged it yet bz we really aren't sure if financially we can go. It's stupid but we will struggle just to do air fare and so we may have to pass. We've never been anywhere at all so this would be fantastic but we'll see what happens. I would like to know which cruise you'd recommend though. Cindy

I especially enjoyed the photo with the window boxes. it reminds me of how delighted I wass to se the flowers in window boxes when I was there in 1995.

Your pictures of London are wonderful. I have always wanted to visit England. I am really into genealogy and one line of my family came to the United States from England in the 1600s. England facinates me.

Oh lucky you! I only took a short trip to London in my 20's and I did get the gray skies but it was such an amazing trip. I loved the shot of the flower bunches! Thanks for stopping by my blog - my poor rooster lamp has retired to my "stash" closet. The one that I can't even get into without a few things crashing down on me - and my poor husband has organized this for me a few times already! But I am sure he will roost again somewhere. I love swapping things out - keeps it interesting. Problem is that I hold on to too much stuff in the meantime! Glad you liked the changes to the rooms. I am sure next week it will be a wee bit different! :) Have a good weekend! ~ Laurie

We were there a couple of summers ago and we saw nary a gray sky. The humidity was pretty heavy, but the skies were clear.

Thanks for the recap.
