VALENTINES IN A BOWL

Not a lot of energy flowing around the Salmagundi household since the surgery, but I sure didn't want to miss the Valentine's Day party hosted by Laurie at
Bargain Hunting with Laurie
.
The extent of my Valentine decorations this year just include some of our collection of vintage cards in a bowl.

You know that any party at Laurie's has to be a blast, so be sure to stop by her blog and check things out!

I'm also linking up with Mary at Little Red House
for Mosaic Monday. There is always such beautiful photography at that Monday party, so check Mary out also.

Thanks for stopping by; and may you have a lovely Valentine's Day!

Hi Dear Sally! I hope you're continuing to feel better! I'm so glad you joined the party! I love love your olden Valentines. You have some lovely ones. Hope it's not too cold at your house. It's about 42' here, but with our high humidity it feels like its in the 30's...brrr...
Be a sweetie,

What pretty Valentines Sally! They look wonderful in the bowl! I don't have much in Valentines going on- a few vintage ones that I found just last week- My dining room is a mess with the wallpapering stripping job going on- have been taking it very easy and just did a bit more tonight hoping that my back will appreciate it and not give me fits again!!

WE need to make a date! Going to play grammy and gramp for some friends children in March but maybe towards the end? Can do the Florence thing or still would love to have you and Bob up here sometime!

Hello sweet lady...

I was just coming over to check on you and see how you're doing! Was so happy to see that you have been able to do a little posting! How is the physical therapy going? I hope that my note finds you growing stronger and stronger every day, Darlin'!!!

Sally, I just adore your vintage Valentines!!! They are so pretty! You know, I never decorate for Valentine's Day either. I usually do a table but that's about it! I used to make a "big deal" of it when I had my kids still at home...they enjoyed it! Speaking of which...I sure did enjoy my daughter and grandbabies surprise visit! They stayed for 4 days and I savoured every minute of it! They had come up to Ne. because my son-in-law's mother passed away. It's so sad...she was only 49...cancer! Jenni thought it would be good to get the kids out of there for awhile...it was really hard on them!

Well my friend, how is everything going? Are you still going to see a physical therapist or have they set you on your own for excersizes? I have been having a tough time of it lately...the cold weather has finally taken it's toll on my body with the fibromyalgia. I haven't been out of the house for a couple of weeks....eeekks, I'm starting to feel like a hermit! Hehe! But I really am okay and this will pass! You take care, sweet lady! Sending my love and prayers...

Love ya,
Chari
