YES, I'M OUTDOORS

There isn't much that will entice me to go outdoors in the summer, but a good flea market will get me out there! This last weekend we were in the Denver area, so we stopped by the Paris Street Market held in suburban Littleton once a month during the summer.

It was hot with lots of people and lots of big dogs, and the parking was impossible; but we had a great time.

There was a nice selection of antiques and vintage stuff, plus several artisan booths. Most prices were reasonable as they were usually somewhere between thrift and antique store prices.

Loved this farm sale sign, but thought it was a bit pricey at $85.

Oh yes, I had to get my money out.

What did I buy? This brass number thingie came home with me. Ever since I was a child, I have considered '15' MY number.

Sorry, no dog pictures. I'm too afraid to invade their space!! Can anyone tell me, do dogs really enjoy going to FLEA markets?

I'm joining Susan at A Southern Daydreamer
for Outdoor Wednesday.

Have a beau-TEA-ful week.

I've actually been there about 2 or 3 summers ago and want to go again. I found an end table for $10 and Sarah got a custom made dining room table that was reasonable. Love the comment about DOGS! I think the owners need to get a dog sitter as the pavement gets too hot for the dogs' paws! ♥♫

I would have loved to shop at the flea market with you! The white bench seat in one of your photos caught my eye.

I guess the people shopping figured they would get Rover's walk in as they browsed..lol!

Happy ODW!

Flea markets are the best, even if just browsing. Love your purchase.

Looks like a great flea market. Dogs are typically very social and love to go out and about with their owners. Depending on how hot it is, I sometimes take mine with me when I go to the Farmer's Market and other places that allow dogs. They think it is a special treat. I bring a water bottle but most places that allow dogs have water bowls set out for them. When August rolls around it is usually too hot and the only place I take them is to the dog beaches. I like you new tag and it looks great on your cloche.

So glad to hear about this flea market. I'll have to check it out and maybe head down this summer some time. Love your "15" tag. What a great find -- especially since it's "your" number. Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog -- I appreciate it! - Suzanne

Your number 15 is great! And I do think dogs like flea markets. They like being outside and spending time with their families.
