It's no secret that we love wooden boxes around here. And, among our favorites are small, handmade tool boxes---
especially those with brass trim and great brass handles--
and unique latch systems--
and a brass escutcheon with patina--
and neat nested interior trays to corral some of our antique tools.
This little gem was discovered on our recent junking trip to Denver.
No question, this one had to come home with us!

Since I go to Denver to visit Sarah, you must share where you go looking when you find these unique items! Of course, you know my eyes wouldn't spot any of the great finds that you take home, so I'm not competition! Have a great week.♥♫
HI Sally! Well, you sure did do the right thing bringing home this little box! It's lovely and I'll be looking forward to seeing it in a vignette! Hope you're doing well.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh-yes- I can see why that one had to come home with you- xo Diana
My husband would go crazy for this beautiful box. Such a nice find! I love all the beautiful worked details. So nice to know you stopped by. Your Mother's American Beauty tea set must be absolutely gorgeous! What a wonderful thing to inherit!
I am in love with a toolbox! The details make this one special.
I love it too! Little Bit from www.DecorateWithaLittleBit.com
Very nice! It sure has some fancy details for a tool box!
What a find. I've never seen one like it. So nice to have something so practical AND pretty.

It's so pretty. i love all the hardware on it. It almost seems to grand to hold tools. LOL.
That is an awesome find! I love steamer trunks and any trunk that has cool hardware on it and a great lock. I use them for storage all over the house!
You can never have too many junk boxes. That one has a lot of cool features.
Great find! Thank you for linking this up to Rustic Restorations Weekend!
Oh, those handles are great. What a fun piece to have to decorate with.
Sally,
My favorite mall in Denver is the Brass Armadillo. I used to fly in twice a year when my daughter was at Univ. of Colorado in Boulder. Miss it.
