"THERE'S GOLD IN THEM THERE HILLS!!!"

Autumn in Colorado is all about viewing the aspens as they turn to gold!

A short trip to the mountains this weekend provided an opportunity to take these photos.

This was probably the last weekend to view the aspens. Snow is in the forecast!

Thanks for stopping by to view our state's autumn glory,

Sally

It is beautiful. We've already had a skiff of snow up in the mountains. Winter seems to be trying to get here a bit early this year in Utah. Thanks for showing me your mountains. I love the mountains!

We went up to Silverthorn and Dillon as the aspens began turning a few weeks ago..probably a month now...STUNNING!

What I absolutely adore are the swaths of gold trees...with a brilliant red one in the middle! But you could see snow on the mountaintops! I love it.
