I'm finished with the decorating for Christmas. The trees are up and the pine cones and plaid are in place.
We don't have a fireplace; so, alas, no mantel. This cupboard that hides away our living room TV is a good substitute.
On the sofa table, the dough bowl is filled with pine cones, walnuts, chestnuts, dried pomegranates, and some California acorns.
In the next post, I'll show you my collections of vintage ornaments, tree toppers, and bottle brush trees -- stay tuned.

Wow, so pretty! I love your dishes in the hutch. The dough bowl is beautiful too.
Hi Sally! Oh, your Christmasing is so lovely! Your big hutch works well for a mantel and I love love seeing your pretty transferware and love how the garland and plaid looks. Love your dough bowl too. I've been looking for one but no luck! ;)
Hope you're having a great weekend.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I love your hutch and that dough ball is great. I used to have a hutch that I used as a focal point, too. I love your plaid- xo Diana
Ofcourse I love that pillow you made with the felt holly...can't wait to see the old ornaments...
Gotta love your gorgeous dishes. The pattern is so pretty. All your decos are very stunning. You've made a great "mantel" on your buffet. Have to make do with what we have. I have a shutter shelf hubs made me while ago and have so much fun with it. Your home is so pretty and your decorations are even prettier. Do you love all the fun things we get to do for the holidays?
I love plaid. Your buffet makes a great mantel. I don't have a fireplace either.
Blessings,
Lorilee
I do have a fireplace and mantel, but no time to decorate or sit in front of a fire relaxing! Next year--it will be a bit fancier. Your looks homey and ready for a holiday!♥♫
Sally I sure do love that plaid! I didn't put up any red decor this year and know I will next year somewhere as I always love it when I see red in someones decor!
Your hutch looks so pretty with all your gorgeous transfer ware!
Are you all snowed up your way?? We were supposed to have our 2nd party here today for Hospice but it was cancelled- maybe tomorrow or Tuesday.
It has been nice just having a snow day and being indoors by the warm fire! Got a few posts written even which is good as it's another busy couple of weeks!!

What a great hutch and lovely dishes!
You have such an extensive collection of brown tranferware, and you've done a good job displaying it. I love the pillow that you let us peek at.
I have used pine cones for my decor too.
Love the dough bowl and everything in it.

Oh Sally,
You had me at pinecones and plaid. But then you also had pomegranates and poinsettias. Wonderful P words! Love it all! Very, very festive! I am still visiting links from Tracies Natural Christmas.
Hugs,

I'm so in love with plaid this year. I'm glad it's making a come-back. Your hutch is really lovely with the greenery and plaid added to it! Thank you for linking up to the Better Late Than Never Christmas Inspirations bloghop.
Sally, love your choice of pine cones and plaid in red. I like how wide that ribbon is. Thanks for linking up to the Better Late Than Never Party. Happy Holidays to you!
Your decorations are so pretty! I am so behind with my decorating this year. Now I'm looking for Christmas table decorations with natural ornaments. Hopefully I'll be done this weekend.
