ENTERTAINMENT AT ITS BEST PLUS A QUILT SHOW UPDATE

Our granddaughter has been a talker and a bit of a drama queen since she was tiny -- nothing has changed!
The other afternoon, she and her boyfriend stopped by for some strawberries and cake, and stayed for three hours.  We never moved from the dining room table.  We talked and laughed and laughed some more.
Her audience was captivated.
It's always fun to connect with the younger generation!

Update on the quilt show --
The show was hung and the opening reception has passed.  Click on my quilting blog here and here for pictures, etc.  It has been a fun experience!!

Hi Sally! Oh, your granddaughter is so pretty and I can see the admiration of her boyfriend in his eyes! They must have had a great time with y'all too! :) Love your quilts! Thanks for popping in to see me and hope all is well. Shoot! I would have loved to had a piece of that cake.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

ahhh, yes...the grands are the reason you and I are on this Earth. :) She is so beautiful...
Beautiful quilts...such works of art.
hugs to you and Bob...

P.S. My cousin that met us when we went to Colo. Springs (was that year before last..or last year ??) ANYway, he called and wanted us to come back to Colorado Springs to hang out with them...I told him if we came, I wanted to come back to see you, too...but, we are too busy this summer to leave. We will be taking a fall vacation to San Antonio...

Nice to spend time with your granddaughter and her boyfriend. Sounds like you spend quite a bit of time with her.

Your quilts are gorgeous. What patience you must have. Glad you are exhibiting them. Heading over to the quilt blog.
